Sylglas Anti-Slip Tape can be applied by hand to steps, paths, patios, garage floors and decking to increase foot traction and reduce the risk of slipping where slippery surface conditions may occur. The tape is available in a range of colours to suit multiple applications around the home or garden.

Instructions for use
1. Surface Preparation
Ensure surface is clean, dry and free from grease and dirt. Prime all porous surfaces prior to tape application with a good quality undercoat or emulsion paint.
2. Measure & Cut
Unroll the tape, measure to the length required and cut it from the roll.
3. Tape Positioning
Peel back 50mm of the interleaving film and firmly press the adhesive side of the tape onto the prepared surface.
4. Fix In Place
Progressively remove the remainder of the interleaving and firmly press the tape into place using even pressure (a hand roller may be used for this purpose) and without stretching or applying tension. Ensure you do not contaminate the adhesive surface with dust or finger marks during this process.
5. Ready For Use
The tape can be walked on immediately and will be fully bonded after 48 hours. On steps and nosings set the tape back at least 12mm from the edge to prevent premature wear.
