Product Information
Sylglas Flashing Tape offers a long-lasting weatherproof seal that bonds to all common roofing and building surfaces. Providing an attractive lead-like finish, the tape is interleaved for easy application and is also ideal for general weatherproofing applications around the home and garden.

Instructions for use
1. Surface Preparation
Wear safety gloves. Ensure surface to be protected is clean, dry and free from grease and dirt. Prime all porous surfaces (such as wood, cement boards, breeze blocks etc.) prior to tape application.
2. Tape Positioning & Fixing
Peel back 150mm of the interleaving film, firmly press the tape into place and smooth down with a dry cloth to expel all air pockets and mould to shape. In particularly cold/damp conditions, keep the tape warm or gently heat the tape during application with a hair dryer or similar, to improve adhesion.
3. Continue to Completion
Apply the tape in manageable lengths to prevent wrinkling and ensure good adhesion to the surface to be protected. For complex shapes, lengths of tape as short as 300mm may be used. When applying a new strip of tape, overlap by 100mm onto the previously applied strip of tape.
